Flashback Friday: 2 Weeks Ago!

FBF to 2 weeks ago: Maternity Style! {My bump has grown since this pic, which you’ll see a little more in upcoming posts.} I LOVE BEING PREGO!!!!! Everyday fashion is so amazing these days, that I will try my best not to fall into the “maternity wardrobe” trap of yesteryear – no need for the daily frump. Pregnancy is so beautiful. If that is you out there: embrace the bump and enjoy the changes!

Long tank dress is Tildon from Nordstrom (I treated myself to this amazing staple for my pregnancy), and top from Wet Seal.

Pregnant or not, this is a great basics idea: Form-fitted tank dress (you can get them cheap at most any store like Forever 21, H&M etc), and a loose, forgiving kimono wrap or shrug to hide anything that’s not looking exactly how you want it to (not that you have that problem!).

Last Minute Rush? Maxi and Hat!!!

I wasn’t even out of my pajamas yesterday, when I got the call for a great meeting … To be there in 45 minutes (that meant leaving the house ASAP). Needless to say there was no time for the regular routine. What to do in that situation? A maxi skirt and hat can work wonders!!! Looks like you put care and effort into your appearance, and it’s fab. My Kendra Scott “Cora” ring completed the whole look. Something about a great cocktail ring makes your ensemble look put together.

20130609-080501.jpg I usually wear my Cora ring on my fourth finger, right hand, but here’s a pic on the index just so you can see how it looks on. This ring seriously matches EVERY outfit!!!! Whether its running errands in jeans and a tee, to a black tie event- this is a MUST-HAVE in my jewelry arsenal.

Hostess with the Mostest!!

Are you hosting Mother’s Day at your house? Mom is the PERFECT reason to dress up. It’s not about wearing the fanciest, most expensive clothes… it’s about honoring your mama and showing how much you care by taking the time to look fab FOR her! Here’s a little hostess outfit inspiration. (This is what I wore hosting both mine and my husband’s families over for Easter lunch.)

Table setting ideas? Here are a few pics of how I had set up Easter at our home:

Even if you’re not having mom over (maybe you’re going out to celebrate, or visiting other relatives), it’s still a great idea to show your love and admiration by looking nice. What are your Mother’s Day plans, and of course I also want to know: What will you be wearing? To our most fashionable mom, I love you!!
